FUNDRAISING
Like many sports clubs, our swim club depends on fundraising. This additional revenue helps keep the fees low, may be invested in equipment, and supports the future of Super Sharks athletes.
WAYS WE FUNDRAISE
SWIMATHON
The Swimathon has been one of our longest-standing traditions. We hold it in mid-March in the evening. Swimmers obtain pledges for swimming 100 lengths, and they are timed by parents and coaches.
SUPER SHARKS GEAR
Branded Super Sharks clothing such as t-shirts, hoodies and sweatpants are sold throughout the year to swimmers and their parents. Super Sharks Ts are mandatory at swim meets to easily identify our crew and show our team spirit. Many kids proudly wear their gear throughout the year.
Other fundraising activities have included food and chocolate sales, and car washes.
