Hi everyone! My name is Octavian, but you can call me Octa for short. I am very please and thrilled to be part of the Super Shark Swimming team as one of the coaches.

Just a few things about me. . .I learned and discovered my love for swimming when I was four years old. Since then, I have joined multiple competitions both in the national and international arena and won several medals and awards. I am known for my butterfly and freestyle strokes and for being a sprinter (in Finswimming). I began Finswimming in 2006 as a sprinter (50m, 100m, 200m) and I’ve won medals at provincial, national, and international levels. My biggest achievement was a Gold in the 2011 Sea Games, and being named ‘Best Male Swimmer’ in the Nationals University League 2013.

I started coaching in 2014 in Singapore, and since 2022 in Canada. I am very excited to impart my knowledge and skills to our swimmers. I try my best to make swimming practice not only valuable but also fun!
